music ministry opportunitiesSunday ChoirThe Sunday Choir provides music ministry at the 11am Sunday Mass every other week. This group focuses on leading meaningful music during the Masses at which they serve through various uses of harmony and instrumentation. The Sunday Choir meets on Thursdays from 7-8pm in the Chapel at the Newman Center.
Gregorian chant choirThe Gregorian chant choir looks to serve the community by sharing in one of the Church’s rich, musical traditions that dates to the Middle Ages. This group learns classical chant and provides ministry during Adoration. Gregorian Chant Choir meets on Tuesdays from 7-8pm in the Chapel at the Newman Center.
Iowa Praise CollectiveThe Iowa Praise Collective is a modern praise and worship group that provides ministry both on campus and in the community. With a focus on contemporary Catholic music, IPC provides music during adoration at the Newman Center once a month and occasionally travels to other parishes in Iowa to share their ministry. The Iowa Praise Collective meets on Mondays from 7-8pm in the Chapel at the Newman Center.

ANNA KELLY - Director of Liturgical Music
Anna Kelly is the Director of Liturgical Music at the Newman Center. A native of Marion, Iowa, Anna is currently pursuing a Master of Arts degree in Brass Performance and Pedagogy (Trumpet). For two and a half years prior to her role, she served as the Liturgical Music Fellow. Anna is excited to continue the tradition of great music at the Newman Center!
